(a) For Geologist and Geophysicist and Chemist (Group ‘A’) in the Geological Survey of India (GSI), an attached Office of Ministry of Mines, Government of India: A candidate should have attained the age of 21 Years but must not have attained the age of 32 Years on the 1st day of the month of January of the year in which the Examination is to be held [i.e., as on the 1st January, 2016] i.e. • Notification Date – By the end of February 2016, notification of the exam will be circulated.

The sample papers will have questions of the exact level of the exam and will thus help all the candidates to prepare for the exam in the best possible manner. Vacancies are available in Central ground Water Board and Geological Survey of India.

The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologists Exam Result, cut off, Merit List, Marks 2014 is going to be held on 24th May, 25th May and 26th May, 2015. A candidate desirous of undertaking this UPSC Examination, must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on the 1st January, of the year he is taking the exam..
